Paul ended up starting his hike on Tuesday morning. He made somewhere in the neighborhood of Lake Morena on his first day. He started the day carrying 5L of water and ended up with 2L left over. There was nowhere to hang, so Paul had to go-to-ground on his very first night.
Tonight (4/29) Pauly is pushing to make Mt. Laguna. He started today with the 2L of water, and found a place to refill on trail. He said he was hoping to climb in the hammock tonight.
He says that he’s feeling good and meeting lots of great people, but also that it’s hot and the sun is relentless.
